Terms and conditions.
This site is free to read and free to use. There is no account, no purchase, and no subscription. What follows sets out what you may do with the material published here, the two limits on that, and what is not promised.

What this site is
Neighborhood Bitcoin is a non-profit research and education initiative. It publishes national research and plain-language education about Bitcoin, and it gives that material away.
Everything here is informational. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice — a point important enough to have a page of its own, and the Disclaimer sets it out in full.
Using the material
The media toolkit and the research published here exist to be used. You may download, copy, adapt, translate, print, post, and share the graphics, guides, and reports, including in your own outreach and in your own community. No permission is needed and no fee is charged.
Attribution is appreciated but not required. Linking back to this site helps people find the research underneath the material, which is the reason it was published in the first place.
The two limits on that permission
First, the Neighborhood Bitcoin name, logo, and brand marks are not part of the permission above. They may not be used in any way suggesting that Neighborhood Bitcoin endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with you, your organization, your product, or your service.
Second, adapted material may not be presented as unmodified work from Neighborhood Bitcoin. Change it as much as the work requires — but do not put someone else’s words in the initiative’s mouth.
Acceptable use
A short list, and it is the whole list. Do not misrepresent the research findings or attribute claims to them that they do not make. Do not use the material to defraud, deceive, or promote a scheme. Do not imply a partnership or endorsement that does not exist. And do not scrape, overload, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to this site or the services behind it.
Links to other sites
This site links to third-party websites and resources. Those sites are not controlled by Neighborhood Bitcoin, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it. Their content, their terms, and their privacy practices are their own.
No warranty
This site and everything on it are provided as is. Considerable care goes into keeping the material accurate, but there is no guarantee that it is free of errors, complete, current, or available without interruption.
Bitcoin — and the tools, services, and rules around it — change quickly. Something accurate on the day it was published may not stay that way.
Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Neighborhood Bitcoin is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or the material published on it.
That includes financial losses following decisions made after reading something here, which is precisely why the Disclaimer asks you to consult a qualified professional before you act.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows when they last were, and continuing to use the site after an update means the updated terms apply.
